Announcements :

1) Our senior Lion, Ln N Raghu Rami Reddy ie Lion Raghu Namdyala ,  (For 2008-09,Micro cabinet member as District Secretary(IT), in our Dist 324C5), is presently on a visit to USA. He is in Denver,Colorado state and attended the lions meeting as a guest lion of HIGHLANDS RANCH LIONS CLUB of Denver,USA in Lion Dist 6C. He met the PST and members of that club and exchaged the ideas on our Lion Club service activities. Also planning with that club to have INTERNATIONAL CLUB TWINNING activity on Jan15th 2009.  For this activity our Snehanagar Lions Club PST has  permitted and authorised Ln Raghu Rami Reddy  Namdyala, to go ahead and do the needful. Both the club Presidents               (Ln Pam Estabrooks & Ln Dr TN Gowd)  have accepted and  were enthusiastic to finalise this important activity for 2008-09.

2) Our ZONE has conducted the Zone Social on Jan 4th 2009.

3) Our club has conducted one seminor on "RIGHT TO INFORMATION', on 30-11-08 & speaches were given by eminent personalities on this subjuct under the charmanship of Ln YVV Ratnam & co-chairmans are Ln S Bhaniji Rao & Ln A Gyaneshwar Gupta .

4)Our club's 2008-09 Officers are being elected uninimusly & INSTALLATION FUNCTION was over on 6-7-2008.with the blessings of Ln Ramesh Kosuri,VDG as Chief Guest & Installation Officer. The NEW BODY is as follows. 1) PRESIDENT: Ln Dr T N GOWD 2) SECRETARY: Ln Ch SATISH KUMAR 3) TREASURER: Ln S RAMANA RAJU 4) MEMBERSHIP CHAIRMAN: Ln O SUNDER RAMAIAH 5) 1st VICE-PRESIDENT: Ln DINESH PATEL.

 5) From our club Ln N Raghu Rami Reddy has been selected by DG, as Micro Cabinet Member ie District secretary (Information Technology)for 2008-09.

6) Our club has done two SERVICE ACTIVITIES on 26-08-08 & 3-11-08, at our ADOPTED Govt School,Uppal. a)We have distibuted one AUDIO System to the school worth Rs 5000/-. We have also provided drinking water fecility to this school for school children benifit, by providing overhead water tank, pipeline and taps costing total of Rs 10000/-. These events expences are sponsored by our Lion President Ln Dr T N Gowd.

7)Our Club has conducted one service activity on14-11-08,at Nagole benifiting 200 people from Diabetes camp & Chairman is LnS Swami Reddy for this activity.

8)We have adopted one OLDAGE HOME namely SRI SAI AMRUTA SENIOR CITIZEN HOME situated at Street#8, Habsiguda to help the inmates to have living comforts mentally and health point of view.

9)Our club has taken the DG's OFFICIAL VISIT DATE for 2008-09 from DG Ln Dr N Balaiah. 10)At the same OLDAGE HOME building also starting the AIDED medical clinic with the cooperation of Dr Koppua Krishna the promoter of the oldage home, for checking the inmates of oldage home and also the poor and needy in and arround the area with white ration cards at Rs10/- only for doctor checking fees.

11)Our Lions District324 C5, elections for DG & VDG for 2008-09,were held 13th APRIL 2008 & Ln Dr A Balaiah has been elected as DG for 2008-09. Also Ln Ramesh Kosuri is the VDG for 2008-09.Their Installation is also over in Bangkok, Thailand in June23 to 27 of 2008, at 91st Lions clubs International Convention.

12)For the Lionistic year 2008-09,our club ZONE CHAIRPERSON is Ln P Krishna Mohan( HC-LC Ramanthapur) & REGION CHAIRPERSON is Ln V Anantha Reddy( HC-LC Ramanthapur) & DIST CABINET SECRETARY is Ln Ramesh Laxman(HC-LC SAFILGUDA) 

13)For this Lionistic year 2008-09, two Mega Service Activities are planned a)Eye checkup camp to help 100 eye glasses & earing aids at Adopted Oldahe Home & program Chairman is Ln O Sundara Ramaiah & co-chairman is LnS Swami Reddy. b)Mega Dental camp to help School Children & Basti Labourers.

Activities :

1)Permanent project by Adopting very poor children of Govt Primary school at Uppal.

2) We have started our Lions Club Trust for Eye care Hospital & also for Promoting "Home for the Aged".

3) We are starting very shortly "Lions Club Of Snehabagar Aided General Medical Clinic", at SRI SAI AMRUTA SENIOR CITIZEN HOME(One of our Adopted OLDAGE HOME)& Also adopted the OLDAGE HOME at5-3,Street #8,Habsiguda ,as a permenant activity of our "Snehanagar Lions Charitable Trust". Also Adopted a Medical Clinic for poor at our Adopted Oldage Home Bldg.
